Urgent search launched for Scots schoolboy missing from town since Monday


An urgent search has been launched for a schoolboy who has been missing from a town near Edinburgh since Monday.

Bartosz Szulerecki, 15, was last seen in the Kirkliston suburb of the capital around 4.45pm on Monday, May 23.

Police say concerns are growing for his welfare as he hasn’t been seen or heard from for three days.

The teen is described as white, 6 feet 2 inches tall, slim build, with short fair hair.

He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black jacket and black footwear when he disappeared. He was also carrying a black backpack.

Bartosz is known to frequent South Queensferry and Edinburgh.

Officers are appealing for the public’s help as part of their efforts to trace the youngster.

Anyone who may have seen Bartosz since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland.

They should do so via 101 quoting incident number 3862 of 23/05/2022.
